Being nominated for the 2023 Next Generation Indie Film Best Documentary Feature award was a great honor. The gala awards ceremony in Los Angeles was beautifully run, emcee’d by Calum Worthy. The after party was a wonderful opportunity to network with the other filmmakers. This is a class ‘A’ event that supports truly independent film.

After one year of all film festivals being virtual or postpone, it was so nice to be part of Next Generation Indie Film awards gala. Wonderful festival with amazing films in there.

This awards ceremony was truly amazing. It is rare to see an organization that recognizes and champions short films. My son and I enjoyed the entire event and as a University Professor and Filmmaker, I will encourage my students to enter this competition.

Next Gen Indie Film Awards is a truly awesome event. The communication from begin to end was impeccable and the gala itself was fun, classy and more than anything made us “indie” creators feel amazing and acknowledged for all of the hard work we put into our craft. Highly, highly recommend!
